Paying For Your Visit No one is turned away for inability to pay.

Our patients can choose from a variety of payment and insurance options.

Deschutes Rim Health Clinic will bill all insurance companies, even if you are out of your plan’s network.

If you have an insurance card, please bring it to your appointment. Your office visit copay is requested at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, and major credit and debit cards. We welcome patients enrolled with private insurers. Feel free to contact our staff with questions about health insurance.

Medicare, Oregon Health Plan and Veterans Health Services

We contract with Medicare, Oregon Health Plan (OHP) and the

Division of Medical Assistance Programs (DMAP).

Health Plan are the local OHP administrators, also called

Coordinated Care Organizations, for Wasco & Deschutes county

residents.

We have preferred provider contracts with VA insurance policies

through Regence TriWest Community Care Network and TriWest,

Health Net Federal.

If you would like us to bill your insurance, please request a

referral from your VA primary care provider for services at

Deschutes Rim Health Clinic. Your office visit copay is requested

at the time of service. Services without a VA referral will be billed

on our private pay sliding fee scale.

Full Pay Discount Rate

A $75 deposit is required at the time of service. The remaining balance is due within 30 days after the first statement and patients can request a 10% pay in full discount if paid within 30 days of receiving the first statement (10% discount applies to self-pay and insured patients).

 

Sliding Fee Discount Program

Our sliding fee discount program option is offered to all patients.

Eligibility is based on your yearly household income and family size. Use your most recent tax return, or pay stubs, to estimate income. You will not be asked about assets such as a home or business.

Payment plans are available for those that cannot pay in full.  Download an agreement and complete it and return to the clinic for processing with your payment.  Download a Payment Plan Agreement.

Patients are encouraged to contact their insurance company’s customer service department to
         • confirm your policy is in our preferred provider network,
         • ask about your office visit copay, or
         • learn about your benefits.
