Jodi Chastain
Jodi is a local community member who has at least one volunteer under him that gives folks rides for a minimum of $5. He does not do wheelchairs, assist with transfers, or stretchers. He is LOCAL and lives in Tygh Valley. He is also looking for more volunteers if applicable.
Pacific Source Get a Ride
Pacific Source Get-a-ride, also known as ModivCare, includes ADA transport, call for a ride, and mileage reimbursement, but no food or lodging. Only Pacific Source OHP members qualify.
GOHBI NEMT
This resource through GOHBI can offer free rides for MODA OHP EOCCO members, even on the same day, and may be able to help with food, mileage, and lodging expenses. A good option for selected Medicaid members, and dual Medicaid and Medicare members that qualify. Does have services for non-members.
They offer reimbursement services for mileage, food, and lodging as well. You can bring an attendant at no extra cost and can transport children for appointments. Stretcher and wheelchair ride are available.
Transport to The Dalles/Hood River

The LINK has a shuttle every Tuesday and Thursday that picks up riders in Maupin, Wamic, Pine Hollow, Tygh Valley and Dufur for a few hours of shopping and appointments in The Dalles. This service is $5.00 round trip for pickups in Maupin and Tygh Valley and $3.00 round trip for pickups in Dufur. This service does not provide in-town rides; only to The Dalles and back.
R&R Transport

They do basic rides to The Dalles/Hood River including stretcher and wheelchair rides. They are not compatible with most insurances and are not for low income. They are pay for out-of-pocket type. Stretcher ride to and from The Dalles was about $800.

A company based out of Walla Walla but they go all over the PNW. They do wheelchair and ambulatory rides only. They are a great solution for to and from The Dalles/Hood River and more. They operate on a flat rate.
